FEC News, a publication of “The International Friendship Exchange Council” (FEC), in its February issue has published an interview given to Mr. Toshiya Ogata, Senior Executive Director of FEC, during his visit to the Embassy of Albania in Tokyo.
The interview brings reflections on Japan as a model of sustainability, development, innovation and preservation of cultural heritage, as well as a brief overview of the history of friendly relations between Albania and Japan, the origins of which date back over a century ago.
It addresses initiatives to strengthen economic cooperation, including the organization of the Albania-Japan Business Forums and the opportunities for concrete Japanese investment projects in Albania. It also highlights the importance of cultural and human exchanges, the growing interest of the Japanese public in Albania and its tourist attractions, the progress in the process of Albania’s integration into the European Union, as well as the potential for further deepening the cooperation between the two countries.
