Hakuho Shō is widely considered to be the greatest sumo wrestler of all time. He achieved the rank of yokozuna, the highest in sumo, in 2007 and dominated this traditional Japanese sport for more than a decade. He also holds the record of being crowned champion in the top division 45 times, more than any other wrestler in sumo history, and continues to exert his influence on this popular sport within the framework of the International Sumo Federation.
