On November 27, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Montenegro organized a reception, on the occasion of Albania’s Independence Day.

This reception was attended by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, ministers, deputies, ambassadors, journalists, representatives from the business community, religious communities, as well as representatives of Albanians in Montenegro.

After the speech of Ambassador Peto, a cultural program was organized during the reception, which included artists from the Music School of Shkodra, dancers, as well as the “xhubleta” embroidered by mother Tolja, which is preserved in the cultural heritage fund of UNESCO.
