On February 29, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Podgorica, Mrs. Zhaklina Peto held a courtesy meeting in the Municipality of Tuzi, where she met with the mayor , Mr. Lindon Gjelaj .

In this meeting was also present the chairman of the Municipal Assembly, Mr. Fadil Kajoshaj and the deputy mayor, Mr. Ivan Ivanaj.

Initially Mr. Gjelaj made an exposition on the activity of the Municipality of Tuzi, focusing on its financial empowerment and not only, over the years.

After thanking the Mayor of the Municipality for the hospitality, Ambassador Peto expressed her readiness to help establish bridges of cooperation for the realization of various projects, which would directly affect the development of the Municipality of Tuzi.

In this fraternal meeting, it was also discussed about the undertaking of concrete initiatives that would help the community’s awareness in matters of a social nature, as well as initiatives that have an important impact on the development of local tourism in this municipality. The interlocutors agreed to continue holding such meetings in the future.
