The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja paid an official visit to Podgorica, where he had meetings with his counterpart, the Minister of Justice of Montenegro, Bojan Božović, with the Minister of Public Administration, Marash Dukaj, and with the Albanian MPs in the Parliament of Montenegro, Ilir Çapuni and Artan Çobi. In all meetings, Minister Manja was accompanied by Ambassador Zhaklina Peto.
During the meeting with his counterpart Božović, Minister Manja stated that the friendly relations between the two countries are a good example of regional coexistence and that our countries offer a lot for peace, stability and security in the region. Minister Božović also discussed the European path of both our countries and on the need to exchange experience at the technical level for chapter 23. For this chapter, Montenegro is expected to close the talks soon. Both parties agreed to maintain frequent contacts and remain committed to a more European Balkans for the citizens of our countries.
Minister Manja held a very friendly meeting with the Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj, who expressed that Albania’s experience in the field of development and digitalization and e-Government are very important for Montenegro on its digital development path. Minister Manja emphasized the readiness for cooperation and exchange of experiences and support with experts in the process of public administration reform, digitalization and cyber security.
In the premises of the Albanian Embassy in Podgorica, a fraternal meeting was organized with the Albanian deputies in the Parliament of Montenegro, Ilir Çapuni and Artan Çobi, discussing the important role of Albanians in Montenegro, as well as finding ways to have a more efficient cooperation with the mother country.
