Together with my colleague and friend Enver Hoxhaj, the Bavarian Minister for European Affairs Beate Merk, we opened the joint Consulate in Munich.

The new home of Albanians in Munich covers the states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, offering safe and transparent services.

The General Consulate will give an impetus to the intensification of economic and cultural relations with the countries that are within its jurisdiction.

The Joint Consulate of Munich is the third after Milan and Bari. Clear evidence of the strategic and natural partnership between Albania and Kosovo. This joint representation constitutes a modern form of mutual assistance for our citizens abroad.

I would like to thank everyone present at the inauguration ceremony. German authorities for facilitating procedures. A special thanks to Sir Rifat Jashari, whose family is a symbol of Albanianness and what we build together, in response to Albanians wherever they live.
