The new Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu has officially taken office. In the ceremony of handing over the baton from the previous minister Niko Peleshi, Minister Vengu pledged to continue the efforts for the modernization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania and the fulfillment of the obligations and commitments that the country has as a member of the NATO Alliance.
