The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in North Macedonia, Mr. Denion Meidani, received in a courtesy meeting near the Embassy of Albania the new Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia, Mr. Astrit Iseni, and the head of the cabinet, Mr. Dugagjin Kashtanjeva. During the meeting, the importance of good relations between the two counterpart institutions in Albania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cooperation for speeding up the procedures for the passage of citizens at the border crossing points, the importance of professionalism in the tasks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as cooperation in the fields of regional security were discussed. Mr. Meidani congratulated Mr. Are you ready for the new task? Both parties ensured mutual support for further cooperation between the institutions of the neighboring countries on matters of regional interest. The meeting ended with the confirmation of the commitment to strengthen inter-institutional relations and to intensify cooperation in common security challenges.
