On September 17, 2024, Ambassador Bardhyl Canaj held a meeting with the new Ambassador of Israel in Serbia, Mrs. Avivit Bar-Ilan.

Ambassador Bar-Ilan expressed appreciation on the precious and unique experience of the Albanian people in rescuing the Jews during the Holocaust, the intensification and the progressive dynamics of the comprehensive relations in all fields between the two countries, which were also concretized with the historic visit of the Israeli President, Mr. Herzog, a few days ago in Tirana, as well as the contribution of our diplomacy to international institutions in support of Israel.
