Today, the Minister of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro Furrxhi, met with the Chairman of the Albanian National Council, Mr. Enkel Rexhepi.

Among the issues discussed during the meeting were Albanian-language textbooks for Albanian students in the Presevo Valley, the need for teacher training, outdated school and educational infrastructure, the non-recognition of diplomas, the awarding of scholarships for Albanian students from the Valley to study at universities in Albania, and other related matters.

Minister Kumbaro expressed her readiness to initiate fruitful cooperation with the Albanian National Council of Serbia.

The Republic of Albania remains committed to strengthening regional cooperation and supporting Albanians living outside its borders, as an important element for stability, development, and hope for the future.
