The Ambassador of Albania to Serbia, Dr. Bardhyl Canaj held a meeting with the Director of the Regional Development Agency of France – AFD, based in Belgrade, Mr. Arnaud Dauphin.

The AFD agency, in cooperation with similar organizations from Germany and the EU, has finalized numerous cooperation agreements with Albanian state organizations in the sectors of Water Management, Energy, Tourism, Urban Waste in the cities of Gjirokastra, Vlora, Durrës, Kukës. , etc., in the value of over 350 million euros.

In the following years, this cooperation will advance with more than 50% more investments in the framework of the Program “Supporting the Reform in the energy sector in Albania”, together with partners from Germany and will also extend to investments in sectors such as Smart City in Tirana and integration and assistance to girls and young mothers in other cities of Albania.
