On December 23, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgrade honored the Chairman of the Albanian National Council, Mr. Nevzad Lutfiu, with a Certificate of Appreciation with the motivation “For the valuable contribution to the preservation and cultivation of the Albanian national identity, as well as for the important traces left in the relations with Albania”.

During the ceremony held at the premises of the Albanian National Council Headquarters in Bujanovac, Ambassador Canaj praised the contribution of Mr. Lutfiu and requested that the work for the Albanian community continue with the same zeal both by the Albanian National Council and by Mr. Lutfiu in the subsequent roles he will have. Chairman Lutfiu expressed his gratitude for this extraordinary appreciation.
