Today in Belgrade was successfully held the annual Balkan Economic Forum 2025, an important international platform for economic dialogue and regional cooperation.
Ambassador Dr. Bardhyl Canaj attended the proceedings of this forum, in which the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgrade served as an official supporter of the conference. This support underscored the importance that Albania attaches to initiatives that promote economic cooperation and stability in the region.
The conference was organized under the auspices of the Central European Initiative (CEI) and with the support and co-financing of the Western Balkans Fund and Red Hat, bringing together economic and political leaders, academics, business representatives, media, and international institutions.
The main objective of the forum is to discuss the major economic challenges affecting the region and the world, as well as to exchange innovative ideas and strategies for sustainable development, economic integration, and increasing competitiveness. Panelists and participants contributed with constructive discussions, where all viewpoints were respected and the importance of mutual cooperation for long-term development was emphasized.
Among the key participants and contributors in the conference panels were Mr. Gjergj Murra, Executive Director of the Western Balkans Fund; Mr. Ardian Hackaj, Coordinator of the Tirana Connectivity Forum; as well as Dr. Ornela Çuçi, former Deputy Minister of Tourism and Environment, who shared their perspectives and analyses on economic developments and regional challenges.
