Today, Ambassador Canaj received in a meeting the Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Office in Belgrade, Ms. Dominika Krois.

During the meeting, discussions focused on intensifying cooperation, and views were exchanged on the situation in the Balkans and international geopolitical developments. In this context, Albania’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region was highly appreciated.

It was also agreed during the conversation to draft a joint agenda for Ms. Krois’s visit to Albania in May, during which she will hold meetings with distinguished figures and state representatives in the fields of foreign policy, security, and defense, as well as with representatives of national minorities and civil society organizations active in these areas.
