Ambassador Canaj met with the President of the Serbian Writers’ Association, Mr. Miloš Janković, and Dr. Adam Sofronijević, Deputy Director of the University Library “Svetozar Marković”, Deputy President of “Adligat”, and also the Chairman of the Board of the Museum of Serbian Literature.

Ambassador Canaj expressed appreciation for the visit he made a few days ago to this dignified Museum with archives, relics and archival documents from all over the world, dating back hundreds of years.

The presentation by the Executive Director of the Museum, Mr. Viktor Lazić, of 200 books in Albanian by many famous Albanian writers, as well as the Catalogue of Albanian postage stamps for the period 1912-2012, was impressive.

Ambassador Canaj also thanked them for the archival, literary and artistic materials and documents of the prominent Albanian writer and poet, Martin Camaj, that they donated to the Albanian Embassy.

In gratitude and respect, Albanian Embassy donated other books in the Albanian language to the Museum of Serbian Literature.
