Today, during a special ceremony at the Belgrade Wine Vision Fair, the Director General of the Albanian National Tourism Agency, Mrs. Zana Cela, and the Director of the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, Mrs. Marija Labovic, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
In her statement to the media, the Director General of the Albanian National Tourism Agency underlined:
“We have agreed to work together to ensure sustainable tourism throughout the year in mountainous areas and national parks. In the main aspects of this memorandum, both our tourism agencies will develop and promote tourism products for Albanian and Serbian tourists.
The main pillars of this memorandum will be:
1. Information and Event Sharing
– Exchange of information regarding tourism promotion events (exhibitions, fairs, seminars, etc.)
2. Marketing and Advertising
– Exchange of experiences in implementing marketing strategies
– Exchange of tourism statistics
3. Quality Improvement
– Exchange of experiences in improving the quality of services and infrastructure in tourism
4. Media and Communication
– Exchange of media representatives and information trips
5. Cooperation in Projects
– Exchange projects financed by the European Union on green policy and tourism
6. Education and Professional Development
– Establishing contacts with educational institutions engaged in training professional staff.
7. Networking and Partnerships
– Establishing contacts with various organizations and companies operating in the field of tourism in our two countries.”
