On February 20, 2025, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Serbia, Mr. Bardhyl Canaj, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Albanian Agribusiness Council, Mr. Agim Rrapaj, and the Chairman of the Albanian National Council, Mr. Enkel Rexhepi.

During the meeting, they discussed the challenges and opportunities for the development of agribusiness, the strengthening of cooperation between farmers and agro-industrial businesses from Albania and those from the Presheva Valley, as well as direct support for agriculture in the region.

The two chairmen agreed to sign a cooperation agreement within April, which will include donations, expertise, the implementation of modern models for greenhouse construction in the Presheva Valley, and the opening of an office for the Albanian Agribusiness Council in this area.

The delegation of the Albanian Agribusiness Council also participated in the Regional Business Forum, which took place yesterday in Belgrade, and held discussions with its organizers, the Association of Agricultural Enterprises “STENA,” regarding the upcoming signing of a memorandum of understanding between them.
