On February 22 and 23, 2025, as part of the 14th edition of the “Days of Friendship of Albanian Journalists”, Presevo Valley welcomed media representatives from all cities of Albania, led by the President of the Union of Journalists, Mr. Aleksandër Çipa.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Serbia, Mr. Bardhyl Canaj, accompanied the Albanian journalists’ association in all its activities in the Valley. The authorities of the Presevo Valley expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the presence and support of Ambassador Canaj for the Albanians of the region.

The Union of Journalists held meetings in Presevo with the Mayor of the Municipality of Presevo, Mrs. Ardita Sinani, in Bujanoc with the Mayor of Bujanoc, Mr. Arbër Pajaziti, and with the President of the Albanian National Council, Mr. Enkel Rexhepi. The discussions focused on the challenges and prospects of media coverage regarding the issues of Albanians in the Valley, strengthening cooperation among Albanian media in the region, and exploring opportunities for a better future.

The officials of the Valley expressed their gratitude for this important visit, acknowledging the Union of Journalists’ comprehensive engagement and extraordinary interest in the concerns of Albanians in the region.

In Presevo, a forum titled “Tourism and Media” was held, where discussions revolved around the tourism potential and resources of the Municipality of Presevo, as well as the media space in Albanian outlets and the role of journalists in addressing topics related to the region. To further strengthen the friendship among journalists, experiences were shared between Albanian journalists from Albania and those from the Presevo Valley.

During their stay in the Valley, the Union of Journalists of Albania also visited museums in Presevo and Bujanoc.
