Petrit Musaj

General Consulate of Albania in Struga
Mr. Petrit Musaj is the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Albania in Struga, North Macedonia.
He graduated from Tirana University, Faculty of History and Philology, where he studied Foreign Languages. He also completed postgraduate studies for pedagogy and psychology.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania in 2002 and since then served in the Directorate of Information and Press, 2002-2003 and the Directorate of Human Resources as Chief of Unit and Director, 2018-2024.
Consul General Musaj was appointed as First Secretary to the Albanian Embassy in Prishtina, Kosovo, 2003-2010.
He was also appointed Counselor to the Albanian Embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia,2010 -2018.
Since June 2024, he has been serving as the Albanian Consul General in Struga.
Before joining Foreign Service Mr. Musaj held important positions in the administration, Director of Education and Culture in Kukes District, Executive Director of Cultural Foundation etc.
He has also been elected Member of Parliament of the Republic of Albania, First Legislature, 1991.
Mr. Musaj has been awarded with the “Naim Frasheri” Medal, Decree No.7218, for outstanding achievements and contribution in the field of Education.
Consul General Musaj speaks Albanian (mother tongue), English and Italian.
