Hasani: “Albania, fully committed to strengthening cooperation on key regional and global issues.”

Bled, Slovenia, 1 September 2025 – The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Igli Hasani, is participating in the 2025 Bled Strategic Forum organized in Slovenia.

“On the 20th anniversary of the Bled Strategic Forum, I am pleased to take part in discussions on today’s pressing challenges – with the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU as a central issue for the future of our continent,” Minister Hasani stated through his social media channels.

Furthermore, Minister Hasani underlined that “Albania remains fully committed to strengthening cooperation and fostering dialogue on key regional and global topics, as well as expanding partnerships on shared priorities.”

Tomorrow, Minister Hasani will take part in the Panel titled “A Region Away from its Youth: Time for Change”, which will focus on the need to empower young people in the Western Balkans and ensure their active participation in the social, economic, and democratic development of the region.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Bled Strategic Forum, an important international conference in Central and Southeastern Europe that brings together global leaders from various fields for high-level strategic dialogue. The Forum also serves as a platform for networking among leading political figures, as well as representatives from business, academia, and civil society worldwide.
