Bled, Slovenia, 2 September 2025 – At the invitation of H.E. Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Igli Hasani, held a meeting with his Western Balkans counterparts on the margins of the Bled Strategic Forum.

The discussion focused on key issues such as the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, regional security, and economic cooperation.

Minister Hasani emphasized that for Albania, EU membership is not only a national objective, but also a necessity for the entire region. He underlined that through closer cooperation within the framework of the EU and NATO, the Western Balkans can ensure a more stable, united, and European future.

The Bled Strategic Forum, hosted annually in Slovenia, serves as a key platform for high-level dialogue and strategic cooperation among leaders, policy makers, and international partners.
