On Saturday (12.08.2023), at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Bern, Ambassador Ilir Gjoni, hosted the well-known Albanian artist/pianist, Mrs. Ermira Lefort, who has been living in Switzerland for more than three decades and has made an unparalleled contribution to the promotion of the cultural values ​​of the Albanian nation, not only in Switzerland, but in many countries in Europe and beyond.

For this contribution and for artistic values, as well as for promoting the protection of the Albanian language, culture and history everywhere, the Ambassador awarded Mrs. Lefort a Certificate of Appreciation with the motivation “For the Valuable Contribution to the Promotion of the Values ​​of the Albanian Nation in the World”.

Ms. Lefort was accompanied by her husband, Prof. François Lefort, former Speaker of the Parliament of the Canton of Geneva and constant contributor to many projects for Albania and Kosovo.
