The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Switzerland, Mr Ermal Dredha, received representatives of the “URA” Ensemble, based in Dübendorf, in the canton of Zurich. The delegation comprised its Chair, Mr Besijan Hoxhaj, and board members Ms Besjana Shahinaj and Mr Dijar Rashiti.

During the meeting, the representatives presented the Ensemble’s activities and objectives. Although recently established, the Ensemble brings together young people with several years of experience in Albanian performing arts.

Ambassador Dredha congratulated them on their initiative and commitment to preserving Albanian cultural heritage and passing it on to younger generations in the diaspora. He expressed the Embassy’s support and readiness to organise joint activities, particularly as part of the November national celebrations.
