On October 19, 2024, a cultural evening organized by the “Mother Teresa” Humanitarian Association took place in Lucerne. Activity entitled “𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞: 𝐄 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐒𝐢 𝐍𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐍𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐙 𝐢 𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭” was dedicated to the literary heritage and the national voice of the great writer 𝐈𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞.

The embassy was represented at this cultural event by Mr. Valon Gashi, First Secretary of the Albanian Embassy in Bern, who joined in honoring Kadare’s profound influence on Albanian literature and culture.

The evening included discussions on Kadare’s work, his influence on the Albanian national identity, as well as musical performances that enriched the evening’s program.
