In the context of the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Albania, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Bern is pleased to announce the organization of a series of important cultural activities that honor this historic anniversary.

𝟐 November 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 – 𝐋𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐧 In cooperation with the Association “Albania Swiss Event”, directed by Mrs. Aina Hoti, the iconic Albanian film Tomka and His Friends will be shown. This film, beloved by generations, will be a wonderful opportunity to bring back to the spotlight the spirit of resistance and national unity.

6 November 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 – 𝐙𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐡 In cooperation with “PBZ Hardau” Library and Albanian Schools in Switzerland, the legendary film November the Second will be shown. With the support of Mrs. Suela Jorgaqi, Ambassador of the Nation and Director of PBZ, as well as Professor Mr. Vaxhid Sejdi, one of the most important contributors to the teaching of the Albanian language in Switzerland, this activity will bring a deep reflection on the struggle for freedom and independence.

𝟏𝟕 December 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 – 𝐁ern The Embassy will organize the screening of the beloved children’s film Mimoza Llastica, in cooperation with the “Kornhaus” Library and Mrs. Brikela Andrea. This film will bring joy and nostalgia to children and adults alike.

Historical Exhibition: During these activities, an exhibition will be presented that will focus on the key moments in the history of the Liberation of Albania, highlighting the great figures and events of that glorious period.
