From 5 to 15 July 2025, 20 Albanian girls and boys from the diaspora in Switzerland, together with four teachers, took part in the Summer School “I Am Albanian” – an unforgettable journey into the Albanian language, history, and culture.

The children were warmly welcomed by the Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Silda Anagnosti Çepe, in an atmosphere filled with emotions, hospitality, and national pride.

Their participation was also featured on the Albanian Public Television, where they appeared as worthy representatives of the new generation of our diaspora.

The Summer School “I Am Albanian” is made possible with the support of:

• The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

• The Ministry of Education and Sports

• The National Diaspora Agency

• The Publishing Center for the Diaspora

During these days, the young participants are living each day as a new “Made in Albania” chapter through:

• Learning the Albanian language

• Cultural and historical visits

• Creative activities that strengthen their national identity

The Embassy of Albania in Bern, as one of the key supporters of Albanian language schools in Switzerland, expresses its pride in these children who are experiencing Albania with heart and soul.
