On 30 August 2025, at the premises of the Embassy, the First Secretary, Mr. Valon Gashi, received the Presidency of the Union of Associations of Presheva, Medvegja and Bujanoc in Switzerland (LSHPMBZ).

The meeting focused on the three-month work of the new Presidency of the Union and its projects for the years 2025–2026, while the “Bushtrani” Association from the Municipality of Presheva officially joined the Union. The agreement was signed by the representatives of the Association, Mr. Alit Aziri and Mr. Abdullah Esati, as well as the President of LSHPMBZ, Mr. Tefik Selmani.

The meeting was also attended by members of the Presidency of the Union: Mr. Ardian Asllani, Mr. Fadil Selmani, Mr. Adnan Imeri, and Mr. Besnik Avdiji. Following the signing, representatives of the Association of Citizens from Bujanoc in Switzerland, Mr. Memet Qazimi and Mr. Lulzim Abazi, also joined the meeting, expressing their readiness for further contribution and more intensive engagement.

As host of this meeting, Mr. Gashi expressed his appreciation for the tireless work of the associations and emphasized that the Embassy remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the unity and dignified representation of the Albanian community in Switzerland.
