During this visit, he was ceremonially received by his Turkish counterpart, General Metin Gürak, in Ankara. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral defense relations, including training, education, joint exercises, modernization, and enhancing the operational capacities of the Armed Forces.
While in Ankara, Major General Kingji also met with Turkey’s Minister of Defense, Mr. Yaşar Güler, to explore new opportunities for defense cooperation and partnership.
Additionally, he had the pleasure of meeting Albanian students enrolled in Turkish military academies, commending their dedication and the significant future contributions they are expected to make to Albania’s Armed Forces.
Concluding his visit, Major General Kingji visited the Albanian Embassy in Ankara, engaging with the staff and being briefed on their efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and support Albanian citizens in Türkiye.
