On July 16, 2024, Ambassador Blerta Kadzadej was received in a meeting in the Turkish Parliament by the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş. Important issues of common interest, inter-parliamentary, economic and commercial cooperation and in the field of foreign policy were discussed at the meeting, as well as views were exchanged about recent regional developments and current events on the international scene.
The conversation also focused on the special and friendly relations that characterize our two countries, and expressed the mutual will to intensify them in all possible areas of cooperation.
Ambassador Kadzadej highly appreciated and expressed gratitude for the continuous support that Turkey has given to our country in difficult moments.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the Turkish parliament reiterated his willingness to strengthen mutual relations, as well as the continuation of his country’s support to the Republic of Cyprus.
