Blerta KADZADEJ
Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Turkey
Blerta KADZADEJ serves as Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Ankara resident, and Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Georgia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, non resident.
She obtained a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature form University of Tirana in 1993, where she also obtained an MBA Degree in 2012, from Faculty of Economy in cooperation with University of Nebraska, USA. Mrs. Kadzadej served as Consul General of Albania in Istanbul from July 2019 – September 2023, she also served as Director General of Human Resources, Economic and Support Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2013 and 2019, Deputy Country Director for USAID Competitive Enterprise Development Project between 2010 and 2013, Program Manager for USAID Rule of Law project between 2007 and 2010.
She was a part-time lecturer of English language at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages between 2004 and 2010. Her earlier positions were Program Manager for USAID Rule of Law Project 2006 to 2007, Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports between 2003 and 2006, Deputy Country Director and Project Manager for USAID Economic Growth Projects consecutively between 1994 and 2002. Other experiences include an internship at the Albanian American Enterprise Foundation in New York between 1995 and 1996.
