The signing of the agreement between the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Ukraine and the General Directorate of the Diplomatic Service of Ukraine (GDIP) on November 5, 2024, between the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Ernal Filo and the Director General of the GDIP, Mr. Pavlo Kryvonos and the staff, finalizes the decision of the Republic of Albania to open a diplomatic mission in Kiev, which constitutes a historic step for the development of Ukrainian-Albanian bilateral relations.

At the meeting that took place after the signing, the conversation focused on the signing of a number of annexes that will contribute to the stable and functional functioning of the Embassy. GDIP guaranteed Ambassador Filo that it will make every effort to ensure appropriate conditions for the smooth functioning of diplomats in Ukraine.
