Thank you,  Madam Chair,

We aligned with the statement of the EU delegation, as well as with the NATO statement, held by Montenegro, but we wanted to add the following on our national capacity:

Albania condemns in the strongest terms the recent violation of Estonia’s sovereign airspace by the Russian Federation.  This, yet again, reckless action represents a serious breach of international law and it is dangerous for the security and stability of the OSCE region.

Albania expresses its full solidarity with Estonia, an OSCE participating State and NATO Ally.  We reaffirm our unwavering support for Estonia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security.  Acts of this nature are unacceptable and only serve to heighten tensions in Europe.

We call on the Russian Federation to immediately cease such provocations, and to respect the international law, the principles enshrined in the Helsinki Final Act and other OSCE commitments.
