Ambassador Donika Hoxha held a meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Rossen Zhelyaskov. The meeting focused on the good bilateral relations between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Bulgaria, the intensification of parliamentary relations between the two countries, the situation in the region and the enlargement of the EU with the countries of the Western Balkans.

On Albania's Liberation Day, Ambassador Donika Hoxha and non-resident Military Attaché, Leonard Çoku welcomed in Novo Selo Training Area, the Albanian platoon that is going to be part of NATO’s multinational battlegroup in Bulgaria under the Italian command.
Established in March, the battlegroup in Bulgaria consists of approximately 1,100 troops from several NATO Allies – including Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, and the United States.

For the first time, the world-famous violinist Olen Cesari, the diva Inva Mula and the pianist Genc Tukici will play in front of a Bulgarian audience at the Sofia Opera. They will arrive in Bulgaria for the "Voyage Around the World" concert organized by the Albanian Embassy on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Albania.
