The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe unanimously approved the recommendation for Albania’s exit from monitoring, after 29 years!
The resolution adopted based on the report of parliamentarian Ion Stroe, recognizes and appreciates the process of transformative justice reforms in Albania, the fight against corruption and Albania’s progress in human rights and democracy.
While Albania enters a new chapter of cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Albania’s commitment remains the continuation of reforms in the direction of achieving the highest standards of the Council of Europe in the field of human rights, the rule of law and democracy.
