Minister Hasani from Strasbourg: Our efforts continue, Kosovo deserves to be part of the CIS

During the proceedings of the 133rd Ministerial Session of the Committee of Ministers of the member countries of the Council of Europe, Minister Igli Hasani expressed his regret that the Council of Europe, on its 75th anniversary, failed to include in the agenda of the meeting, the request of Kosovo’s membership in this organization, even though the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe spoke strongly about this request in the parliamentary session of April 2024.
Minister Hasani called for this issue to be addressed as soon as possible, in a special Ministerial just for Kosovo, as soon as the tasks left for Kosovo according to the report, are fulfilled by the government of Kosovo, so that its citizens have the missing access to the assistance and privileges offered by the Council of Europe through mechanisms and instruments in promoting human rights, strengthening the rule of law and consolidating democracy.
