Today, June 2, 2020, the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) published the report of the sixth monitoring cycle for Albania.
We welcome the publication of ECRI’s report and its recommendations and express our willingness to continue working and to further improve standards in the protection and guarantee of people’s rights, in full respect of international human rights standards.
The Albanian authorities and ECRI have a continuous and constructive dialogue throughout the monitoring cycles and express their willingness to continue this fruitful dialogue.
Albania attaches great importance to the work and recommendations of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance. Also, as the next Chairmanship of the OSCE, Albania has among its priorities the fight against racism and intolerance.
