The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Croatia hosted an official reception on the occasion of Albania’s National Day, marking Independence Day and Liberation Day. The event brought together representatives of Croatian institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, the Albanian community, business partners, and friends of Albania in Croatia.
In her welcoming remarks, the Ambassador of Albania to Croatia, Ms. Donika Hoxha, emphasized the enduring friendship between Albania and Croatia and highlighted the historical significance of 28 November for the identity and statehood of the Albanian people. She expressed gratitude for Croatia’s continued support to Albania, particularly on its path toward full membership in the European Union.
Ambassador Hoxha underlined the important role of the Albanian community in Croatia as a bridge of friendship between the two nations, contributing to stronger cultural, economic, and social ties.
