During his stay in Croatia, on March 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, visited the Albanian community in Velika Gorica. He was received by the Speaker of the Zagreb Prefectural Assembly Dražen Bošnjaković, Deputy Prefect Rudolf Vujević, Deputy Mayor of Velika Gorica Stjepan Kos and the Speaker of the Zagreb Prefectural Albanians Memetali Zenuni. The meeting was very friendly and opinions and experiences were exchanged about European integration, especially in the field of justice. Minister Bushati thanked Croatia for everything it has done for the Albanians who live and work in this country in terms of culture, language, education, etc., underlining that Croatia is an example for other countries in terms of respecting minorities. While Deputy Prefect Vujević expressed his satisfaction with the assessment made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, emphasizing that he is convinced that the Albanian community enjoys all rights. Meanwhile, he underlined that he is satisfied that Albania recognizes this fact and that he is proud of what they have achieved with the Albanians in the prefecture.
