The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Donika Hoxha, presented her Letters of Credence to H.E. Zoran Milanović, President of the Republic of Croatia, in an official ceremony held at the Presidential Office.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Hoxha conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Bajram Begaj, and reiterated Albania’s commitment to further strengthening the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries. She expressed Albania’s appreciation for Croatia’s steadfast support for Albania’s European Union integration path and emphasized the shared values and friendship that bind the two nations.

President Milanović welcomed Ambassador Hoxha to Croatia and expressed his country’s continued support for Albania’s European aspirations, underlining the importance of close cooperation in the Western Balkans and within regional and international frameworks.

Ambassador Hoxha, a career diplomat and historian, brings to Zagreb extensive experience in diplomacy, public service, and international relations.

The ceremony marks the official beginning of Ambassador Hoxha’s mandate in Croatia.
