The City of Zagreb last Saturday marked the Day of National Minorities, highlighting the traditions, customs, and contributions of the many minority communities in Croatia.
Minority groups presented their heritage through traditional food, costumes, music, dances, and cultural objects.
The Albanian community in Zagreb, with the support of the Council of the Albanian Minority in Zagreb and Association Shkëndija, organized a stand offering traditional Albanian cuisine and vibrant cultural performances, including dances by children that attracted great interest from visitors.
The stand was visited by Ambassador Donika Hoxha, who met with citizens, minority representatives, ambassadors, members of parliament, and the City Council of Zagreb.
The celebration was a lively and colorful affirmation of diversity, coexistence, and gratitude to the City of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia as a welcoming host country.
