At the invitation of the Minister of Justice and Public Administration of Croatia, Mr. Ivan Malenica, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Klajd Karameta participated in the International Conference on “The Future of EU Enlargement: Judiciary and Fundamental Rights”, which was held in Zagreb on February 19 and 20, 2024.
In this Conference, Deputy Minister Karameta was accompanied by Ambassador Poda.
In his speech at the Conference, deputy Minister Karameta appreciated the organization of the Conference, which offered a platform for discussion and sharing of the positive Croatian experience in its EU negotiation process. Appreciating the lessons learned from the Croatian trip to the EU, the Deputy Minister thanked the Croatian side for its willingness to support and assist our country in this process.
Next, he informed the attendees about the progress of the country’s European integration process, as well as the measures and reforms undertaken to fulfill the obligations of the negotiation process, especially for chapters 23 and 24.
