In the framework of the *Month of Albanian Cuisine Worldwide*, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Zagreb organized an evening dedicated to Albanian gastronomy, culture, and music, celebrating the friendship between Albania and Croatia.
The event brought together representatives of Croatian institutions, the diplomatic corps, business and cultural communities, as well as members of the Albanian diaspora.
Guests enjoyed an exceptional culinary experience prepared by Chef Senad Perfati from Shkodra, who presented traditional northern Albanian dishes. Each dish told a story of heritage, family, and Mediterranean warmth — reflecting Albania’s diverse cultural influences.
The evening was complemented by a captivating performance from jazz artists Tringa Sadiku and Marigona Komani, whose music embodied the creativity and spirit of a new Albania — rooted in tradition yet open to the world.
Ambassador Donika Hoxha welcomed the guests, emphasizing that “culture and cuisine are among the most genuine forms of diplomacy, connecting people through shared experiences and appreciation of creativity.”
Special thanks were extended to AlbChef for their support and contribution to the promotion of Albanian cuisine abroad.
