As you can see in the photo, I gave the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic the jersey of our football representative, with the intriguing number 54 and his name. A very beautiful photo and at first glance, quite significant. Someone will rightly ask: who will the Croatian Prime Minister cheer for and how is it possible that he accepted the shirt these very days when the two representatives, the Albanian and the Croatian, will meet in the framework of the European Championship?
We are clarifying from the beginning that the delivery of our representative’s shirt and the photo in question was made a while ago. And, Mr. Plenkovic gladly accepted it. Beyond what the camera captured, it is a symbolic moment that shows his sympathy and the government he represents for our country, as well as the excellent relations between the two countries.
Sport is also a meaningful indicator that I can be the ambassador for rapprochement and brotherhood between our two peoples.
We wish that both representatives will give us a beautiful show.
