In the framework of the state visit to Croatia, the President of the Republic Sh.T.Z. Bajram Begaj, had a meeting with representatives of Albanian associations in Croatia.
President Begaj appreciated the contribution of the Albanian community in Croatia in preserving and transmitting the highest values ​​of the Albanian nation, as well as their important role in strengthening the friendship between the two peoples and the two countries. He described them as a natural connecting bridge between Albania and Croatia.
The Head of State expressed that it is a pride to hear that the Albanian community in Croatia is a constructive and dedicated part of the Croatian society. Concluding, the President wished that the Albanian diaspora in Croatia would continue to be a source of pride for Albania. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
