On June 14, 2024, direct flights Zagreb-Tirana-Zagreb started, through Croatian Airlines. At the “Mother Teresa” airport, a festive ceremony was held to inaugurate the first flight of this line.
In this ceremony, along with Ambassador Poda, representatives of the Embassy of Croatia in Tirana, managers of Croatia Airlines, CEO of Mother Teresa Airport, the first passengers of this line and various media participated.
In his greeting on this occasion, Ambassador Poda thanked the Croatia Airlines company and the Kastrati Group for this cooperation, and appreciated the establishment of a direct air line between the two capitals as a very important project. He also underlined the impact that this service will have on the further intensification of economic cooperation, investments, tourism and the growth of bilateral trade exchanges.
The inauguration ceremony took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
