Information for Foreigners:
All the foreigners who have a valid multi – entry Schengen visa, type “C” or “D”, or a valid residence permit in one of the Schengen member states, can enter, stay and transit Albania without visa, within the validity term of the visa or the residence permit.

Issuance of Temporary Travel Document/ Laissez-passer (Leje Kalimi):
The Consular Office of the Embassy issues temporary travel documents/ Laissez-passer (Leje-Kalimi) to Albanian citizens residing in or visiting Denmark, who do not have a valid passport, and wish to return to Albania
Basic requirements in order to receive a Laissez-passer:
• Personal appearance of the applicant
Citizens who are detained, arrested or imprisoned are exempt from this requirement. In this case, a written request must be submitted by the police authorities.
• Proof of identity that can constitute evidence of Albanian nationality, such as ID card, birth certificate, expired passport or driving license issued by the Albanian competent institutions. In the case of a stolen passport, a police report is required.
• 2 (two) recent, passport-sized photographs.
• Payment of the relevant consular fee (refer to consular fees).
• The completed and duly signed application forms
