Luxembourg, 14 April 2025 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Igli Hasani reacted immediately after the conclusion of the Fourth Intergovernmental Conference held this afternoon in Luxembourg between the EU-Albania, where another group of negotiating chapters for the Internal Market was opened.

“Another important step today at the Fourth EU-Albania Intergovernmental Conference in Luxembourg: The opening of the Second Group of Chapters with 9 chapters – Internal Market is a clear signal of how quickly and seriously Albania is committing itself to the path towards the European Union. Three groups of chapters. Opened – and moving at a fast pace.”, – said Minister Hasani.

He also underlines that: “We know that time is precious, and we are not wasting a single second on the path towards EU membership.”
