Deputy Prime Minister Balluku attends the Brussels Politics Festival
On October 16, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku attended the 22nd edition of the Politics Festival, an event organized annually by ‘Friends of Europe’ with high-level representatives from all fields and institutions. Prime Minister Balluku was part of the Panel on “European Security: A Turning Point”, together with the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Taras Kachka, the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security and Democracy, Henna Virkkunen, and the former President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaité.

Ms. Balluku shared with the attendees Albania’s experience in dealing with cyberattacks in 2022, and stressed the importance of cooperation between countries to protect ourselves from any risk that threatens our common security. “We must understand that unity is one of the most important instruments to use for our security. Building a new long-term defense architecture for this old continent is perhaps the most important step towards a secure future,” said Ms. Balluku.

Minister Sipropali participates in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Berlin Process countries
On October 9, 2025, the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Berlin Process countries took place in Belfast, within the framework of the British Chairmanship of the Process for 2025. Albania was represented by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Elisa Spiropali.
