Slovenia, September 2 – The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, participated in the opening of the Bled Strategic Forum on the theme ‘A world of parallel realities’, where he was received by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.
The issues that will be addressed in the forum are the current security challenges that are happening in the international society, but also the future global ones.
Minister Hasani is invited to the panel on “Full and free Europe: a renewed commitment to European security”.
Minister Hasani will also participate in an informal meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Special Envoys for the Western Balkans. The meeting will enable the exchange of opinions regarding the situation in the Western Balkans region.
Within the framework of the forum, the Albanian Chief Diplomat will hold several bilateral meetings with counterparts and senior officials from European countries.
The Bled Strategic Forum is organized at a time when Slovenia has been voted as a temporary member of the UNSC for the period 2024-2025, and on this occasion, Slovenia’s responsibility for exercising the duties arising from this fact will also be expressed.
