Spiropali: Progress report 2025, a recognition of our strong political commitment, pace and magnitude of reforms

A day after the European Commission published the 2025 Progress Report for Albania, Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos invited Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, to a virtual meeting on the findings and expectations of this report.

In the online meeting, Commissioner Kos emphasized that “when it comes to the integration process, there is no doubt that Albania is on the right track.”

Minister Spiropali emphasized that “our vision for EU membership is only strengthened by the realistic and balanced findings of the report, the recognition of our strong political commitment, the pace and magnitude of reforms.”

Spiropali expressed Albania’s gratitude for Commissioner Kos’ commitment to the enlargement agenda, as well as for the close cooperation with the Commission.
